Die Mozart-Gesellschaft Hamburg (MGH) versteht sich auch als Knotenpunkt eines Netzwerks von Institutionen, die im Namen Mozarts und seiner Musik Menschen zusammenbringen wollen.

Die MGH ist dem Dachverband Deutsche Mozart-Gesellschaft angeschlossen, dem neben der Deutschen Mozart-Gesellschaft e.V. (DMG) mit Sitz in der Leopold-Mozart-Stadt Augsburg deutschlandweit allein 13 regionale Mozartvereinigungen angehören. Mit dem Hamburger Mozartfest 2022 tritt die MGH erstmals auch überregional in Erscheinung und ermöglicht so im Namen Mozarts eine Vielzahl von Begegnungen, Kooperationen und Beziehungen.

Die vor über 20 Jahren von Anke und David Dieterle, dem 1. Vorsitzenden der MGH, gegründete Akademie Hamburg für Musik und Kultur ist ihrem Selbstverständnis nach zugleich „Musikschule, Veranstaltungsraum und Ideenpool“ und „arbeitet im Spannungsfeld zwischen akademisch geprägten Unterrichtsinhalten und unmittelbarer Musikvermittlung“. Durch den direkten Kontakt zu den weit über 1000 Musikerinnen und Musikern, die an der Akademie lehren und lernen bietet sich der MGH ein weites Feld an Möglichkeiten.

Im Hamburger Kammerkunstverein werden seit 1999 in fast 1.000 Veranstaltungen „Kammermusik, Liedgesang und Theater […] zu interdisziplinären Projekten“ verwoben. Das Konzept des Vereins, „neue Aufführungsformen an besonderen Orten“ zu ermöglichen, soll auch beim Hamburger Mozartfest 2022 der MGH verwirklicht werden, bei dem zahlreiche Mitglieder der „Kammerkunst-Familie“ beteiligt sind.

Mit dem Landesmusikrat (LMR) Hamburg teilt die MGH ihr Ziel, Amateurmusik und professionelle Musikszene miteinander zu verbinden. Als „Sprachrohr der Hamburger Musikszene“ ist der LMR ein wichtiger Partner, der die Interessen der MGH in Politik und Gesellschaft vertritt.

Ein besonderer Höhepunkt des Hamburger Mozartfestes 2022 verspricht die Zusammenarbeit der MGH mit dem Bundesjugendballett zu werden. Durch das 2011 von John Neumeier gegründete Ensemble professioneller junger Tänzerinnen und Tänzer verkörpert Mozarts Musik „Bewegung“, „Berührung“, „Relevanz“ und „Mut“.

Aus den zahlreichen Hamburger Jugend- und Amateurorchestern treten insbesondere drei Ensembles hervor: das Landesjugendorchester (LJO), das Alber-Schweitzer-Jugendorchester (ASJ) und das Mendelssohn-Jugendorchester (MLJ). Alle drei Orchester unterstützen die MGH tatkräftig bei der Gestaltung des Hamburger Mozartfestes 2022, nicht zuletzt bei der Realisierung des Preisträgerkonzertes des in diesem Rahmen erstmalig verliehenen doppelpunkt22 Kompositionspreises.

Die fünf Hamburger Hauptkirchen St. Michaelis, St. Petri, St. Katharinen, St. Jacobi und St. Nicolai widmen sich in Kooperation mit der MGH der Kirchenmusik Mozarts. So werden im Rahmen des Hamburger Mozartfestes 2022 jeweils sonntags an einer der fünf Hauptkirchen Werke von Mozart zur Aufführung gebracht.

Als einen der vielen ungewöhnlichen Veranstaltungsorte des Hamburger Mozartfestes 2022 konnte die MGH das Kreativzentrum „Zinnwerke“ gewinnen. Der „Ort für alle“ im Hamburger Stadtteil Wilhelmsburg zieht seit rund 10 Jahren vor allem ein jüngeres Publikum an, das mit Mozarts Musik in der Regel wenig anfangen kann. Dies zu ändern stellt für die MGH eine spannende Herausforderung dar.
